I was at The Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra performance of Das Lied von der Erde today (May 31st, 2009) at The Church of St. Ann and the Holy Trinity in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn and caught the entire performance of Gustav Mahler’s masterpiece. A friend was also playing in the orchestra today and that’s how I [...]

iPhone Art – now everyone is doing it!
by on May 26, 2009 in Art in NYC
Well, I think I was one of the first people to write about iPhone Art as early as last year, and I’ve been it, on and off, on my iPhone and posting it at http://www.ArtNewYorkCity.com; plus, my blog ranks well in Search Engines for iPhone Art.
And you can see a lot of great examples of [...]

At the end of the day, the show was fantastic in what it had in it – here’s some videos I took [...]

Interviewed by Juliette Powell at the Rubin Museum of Art – March 27th, 2009
by on March 28, 2009 in Art in NYC
I had a lovely time with Juliette Powell tonight, authoress of 33 Million People in the Room, that I reviewed at WebMetricsGuru.com, maybe 5 or 6 weeks ago.
A couple of ideas “came to me” today; they’re not really new ideas to me, but worth writing down, all the same.
For one thing, I’m passionate about Art, [...]
Truth
by on March 22, 2009 in Art in NYC
This painting, I think, is done – I went by my studio space and decided to finish it – if anything can really be finished. Orginally, I named it “The Uprising” but I think it ought to really be named “Truth” because that’s what I feel when I look at the painting.
