Art Basel Miami Beach 2013

It feels like Art Basel Miami Beach just happened, but it’s been a full years since the last one. This year’s edition runs Thursday, Dec. 5, through Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Miami Beach Convention Center, with a preview day on Wednesday, Dec. 4. More than 250 galleries from around the world will be showing work.

50,000 international visitors attended the 2012 edition of Art Basel in Miami, with artists, collectors, gallerists, curators and art enthusiasts creating the excitement that makes this singular event a remarkable way to encounter art.

Leading international galleries show work from masters of Modern and contemporary art as well as pieces by newly emerging stars. Paintings, sculptures, drawings, installations, photographs, films, and editioned works of the highest quality are displayed in the main exhibition hall, while ambitious artworks and performances become part of the landscape at nearby beaches, Collins Park and SoundScape Park.
