While putting together a new Wooster Collective video channel on Youtube, we came across a series of short videos demonstrating the handstyle lettering of a group of well-known graf artists – Os Gemeos (shown above), Mare 139, Earsnot, KR, Stay High, and many others. If you’re in Washington DC this weekend, be sure to head along Metro’s Red Line to the Rhode Island Avenue station and check out a massive 500 feet long wall that’s being turned into the largest mural of its kind in the city.

On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., more than 100 artists will add to it at a mural jam. The public is invited to help paint and enjoy live music, DJs, food and activities for kids.

The jam is sponsored by the D.C. government and the nonprofit group Albus Cavus, which aims to beautify neighborhoods by creating works of art.
