Monsters of the Middle East
Hey Wooster, here is a wheat paste project I did this summer in San Diego, California. The repression of mass peaceful protests in countries like Egypt, Libya, Bahrain, and Syria has exposed some monsters. As I write to you, news lines read “rebels sweep into Tripoli as Gaddafi forces crumble.” I felt like the struggles for justice and freedom in the middle east needed to be acknowledged. The Gaddafi, Mubarak, Assad, Saleh, and Hamad bin Isa, governments are truly monstrous.

We’re Back… And with some news to share
We’re finally back from our Summer holidays and excited to share with you a ton of new material that’s come in over the past few weeks when we’ve been offline. We know we’ve missed a lot while being away from the computer, but we hope to catch up soon.

We’re expecting another child. 
Another girl. A sister for Sammy.
Sara’s due in December and we couldn’t be happier!

One Not To Miss: Electric Projected – Aug 6th in Beacon NY

On the evening of August 6th at the intersection of Main Street and East Main in Beacon NY OPEN SPACE Gallery Presents Electric Projected.
The evening will begin with 2 live bands organized by local 845, and then when the sun sets 24 animated shorts will be projected onto the facade of the Electric Windows Building. Each animation will be inspired by one of the pieces of art on the building. DJ Bobby Collins will be live mixing during the animations to accompany the show. After the animations Bobby C Sound TV will DJ his famous Audio/Viual DJ Sets and continue the projections on the building and everyone will dance in the streets…
Bring a lawn chair to watch the show and your dancing shoes, This is going to be an amazing evening!!!

curved versus vertical
Sandy edge, 18 inch x 18 inch, oil on birchwood panel
Vertical seems to be an ephemeral property. A sandy edge molded by ice and waves will soon crumble. The jaggedness of the Great Teton Mountains will be replaced by rounded shapes demonstrated by the juxtaposed older Gros Ventre Mountains.
